Scope of Services & Liability Notice

PFAS Registrar is not a laboratory nor a transporter. We serve as an independent registry and coordination service that records and verifies chain-of-custody events from accredited third-party laboratories and licensed hazardous waste transporters.

Our Role

  • Coordinate sampling activities with certified field technicians
  • Document chain-of-custody transfers with barcoded tracking
  • Verify receipt of samples at accredited laboratories (NELAP/TNI certified)
  • Record analytical results from laboratory partners
  • Coordinate waste transport with licensed DOT/RCRA carriers
  • Maintain immutable audit trails of all custody events

Third-Party Services

All laboratory analysis is performed by independent, accredited laboratories meeting EPA Method 1633 validation requirements. All waste transportation is conducted by licensed carriers holding appropriate DOT and state hazardous waste permits. PFAS Registrar maintains registry oversight but does not perform testing or transportation services directly.

Liability Framework

Our service agreements clearly delineate responsibility between PFAS Registrar (coordination and documentation), laboratory partners (analytical accuracy), and transport carriers (safe handling and disposal). This structure provides clarity for procurement and risk management purposes.
